Welcome to my world of surreal AI short films, dreamlike animations, musical and visual stories where imagination, emotion, and technology collide. I create cinematic AI films using generative imagery, keyframe animation, and experimental motion workflows to bring strange, beautiful ideas to life.

Can Gemini 2.0 Teach Final Cut Pro?
A fascinating and ultimately humorous video of Mark Spencer from Ripple Training (who I’ve purchased training and plugins for Final Cut) attempting to have Google’s Gemini 2.0 teach HIM Final Cut Pro. Fascinating that it can “see” his screen and know he’s in the Final Cut app – humorous in the number of times Mark has to correct the “trainer”. The following quote is said at least a 1/2 dozen times:
“You are correct. I apologize for the confusion.”
Still a ways to go and lots of obvious human interaction (or general humanity) implications!
Go watch this video, to get that burning feeling of excitement in your belly again…

“Every time I would discover something like this, I would get this same feeling – a burning feeling of excitement that I could feel right here [in my stomach]”
This looks super interesting, especially the detachable interface. It would need a Mac software control and/or Companion support for me to use, but it’s still very intriguing.
What sorcery is this? Mix Effect Pro 2.1.0:
Adam Tow has done it again. Live switch using multiview on an iPad!
Here’s Adam’s video demoing the version of his Mix Effect app.
“… USB View, which brings external camera support to macOS 14 and iPads with USB-C ports running iPadOS 17. See how you can use USB View with the Multiview Overlay feature to see and interact with your ATEM directly in MixEffect.”

Andy Rush Live Stream – YouTube:
Streamed to YouTube from the Atomos Ninja V using the Atomos Connect this morning. AWESOME!!!
Playing in the background from 2015 is the Gardner Campbell Keynote at UNF (used this for the live stream to have some “action” when I wasn’t in the frame).
Anyway, exciting things to come.
The latest version of my favorite image editing software, Pixelmator Pro (version 3.2 Lumière) has been updated with a jaw dropping feature set for editing and manipulating video. It’s on sale now for $20 in the Mac App Store.
Add and edit video layers just like you edit images using all the familiar image editing tools in Pixelmator Pro.
